Job Title: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in an acute care hospital setting License: Indiana RN License required Certifications: BLS (AHA only) Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting - Required skills include familiarity with IV pumps, wound vacs, lifts, feeding pumps, SCDs, NG tubes, suction, and Foley catheters Description: This position involves providing patient care in a medical surgical unit. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions and administering medications. Maintaining accurate patient records and collaborating with the healthcare team is essential. The nurse will work a 36-hour week with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1. The dress code requires Caribbean blue scrubs. Mandatory attendance for orientation is required. Shifts will be from 3 AM to 3 PM. Floating to other units or departments will not be required.
