As a Medical Surgical RN, you will manage a diverse patient population, focusing on comprehensive care, post-operative recovery, and medical stabilization within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care for acutely ill adult medical and surgical patients.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse assistants, and other interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and post-discharge care instructions.
Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
