Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Medical Oncology) – Michigan
Start Date: October 12, 2026
Location: Midland, Michigan
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Full-time position with every other weekend coverage. No call required.

Requirements:
- Active Michigan Registered Nurse license (verified through LARA and/or Nursys)
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
- Oncology nursing experience required
- Demonstrated comfort and competency caring for step-down level patients required
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Current American Heart Association ACLS certification required
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Epic EMR experience highly preferred
- Current skills checklist specific to Medical-Surgical specialty (within 1 year)
- Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
- Candidate must reside outside of 50-mile radius from facility
Responsibilities:
- Regularly assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing services according to physician-authorized plan of care and accepted nursing standards
- Deliver direct patient care including nursing assessments, medication administration, treatments, call light response, transfer assistance, and alarm management
- Evaluate treatment plan effectiveness and patient condition to recommend updates in collaboration with interdisciplinary team
- Process physician and provider orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Follow up on medication changes and order clarifications as needed
