Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

Perform clinical assessments and time management for patient care
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry
Administer medications, including insulin and heparin drips
Facilitate discharge planning and patient education
Manage chest tubes and perform trach care
Initiate and maintain IV lines

Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

Current RN License (associate's degree minimum)
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Basic Cardiac Rhythm (BCR) test completed during onboarding
Minimum 2 years of Med/Tele RN experience
