Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele- Provide care for patients with acute or chronic diseases, including diabetes, hypertension, and infections
- Manage cardiac patients post-cath, CHF, and a-fib
- Perform post-surgical care for general, ortho, and trauma cases
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and develop discharge plans
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage tele skills, including post-cath site care
- Administer and titrate drips for HR, including insulin and Cardizem
Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years Med/Tele RN experience
- Pass EKG competency exam during onboarding
- Certification in med surg is a plus
