The equipment used is standard medical equipment for a medical-surgical unit. The documentation system is Meditech. The scheduling requirement is 36 hours per week with rotating weekends. Contract labor is prioritized to float to like units. Advanced skills are not required for this position. Common procedures performed on the unit include EKGs, glucose checks, and venipuncture.
