Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,251 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Med/Surg Specialty Unit – Ohio

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week assignment with weekend coverage required; flexibility to float to different units as needed

Highlights:

• Specialized surgical unit caring for burns, plastic surgery, urology, gynecological, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial patients
• Work with interdisciplinary support teams including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Charting system experience required; electronic medical record proficiency essential

Requirements:

• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Graduation from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Proficiency in peripheral line care/management, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Experience with rapid response/code teams
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or director
• Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing
• Must be available to complete strict compliance requirements by the Tuesday prior to start date
