Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN - Med/Surg Specialty: RN - Med/Surg Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 or 48 hours per week Experience: Preferred acute care facility experience License: Required Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice Certifications: Required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Must-Have: Must have experience in EPIC and Cern Description: Located in a rapidly growing community with a great cost of living. We serve a diverse population with a focus on coordinated nursing care. Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and judgment. Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the care plan and employs strategies to promote health. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Identifies outcomes for patients or their situations. Collaborates with the healthcare team in providing patient care. Provides learning opportunities for patients, families, and team members. Directly provides health information to patients, families, and the treatment team. Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
