It is comprised of a 173-bed hospital and various outpatient clinics with primary and specialty care services. The community is known for its historic charm and family-friendly atmosphere. Within an hour’s travel time, national parks can be enjoyed. Job Summary: Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment. Job Requirements: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Experience: Preferred acute care facility experience. Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor is required. Essential Functions: Collects relevant data pertinent to patient health or situation. Analyzes assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to achieve outcomes. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and promotes health in a safe environment. Evaluates progress towards attaining outcomes. Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patient's situation. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in providing care in a humane environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members. Directly provides health information to patients, families, and treatment team. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
