Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with varying medical-surgical needs
- Manage hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, bowel obstructions
- Operate telemetry monitors and facilitate total joint arthroplasties and spinal fusions
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary support teams (IV Teams, Physical Therapy, etc.)
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including COVID patient care and isolation precautions
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Valid BLS and NIHSS certifications
- EPIC charting system experience required
