Experience Required: 2 Years
Weekly Pay:$2,280 to $2,480
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
Perform thorough head-to-toe assessments and monitor patients for changes in condition
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
Monitor vital signs, pain levels, neurological status, respiratory status, and other clinical indicators
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and prescribed treatments safely
Manage IV lines, central lines, drains, catheters, wound-care needs, and other patient-care devices
Recognize early signs of deterioration and promptly communicate concerns to physicians and the clinical team
Assist with admissions, transfers, procedures, treatments, and discharge activities
Provide wound care, post-operative care, and other treatments according to patient needs and provider orders
Monitor patients for complications and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
Promote fall prevention, infection prevention, mobility, nutrition, hydration, and overall patient safety
Respond appropriately to rapid responses, emergencies, and significant changes in patient condition
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, CNAs, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
