Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,290 per week in Springfield, IL

Job Title: Med Surg RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: PICC line management experience Experience with starting IVs Willingness to take trach and laryngectomy patients Ability to float as needed Description: Position available for a Med Surg RN. The shift is 3x12 nights. Daily caseload ratios may vary. Candidates with minimum two years of experience are preferred. New travelers are welcome to apply. Weekend work is required, every other weekend. Time off requests will be evaluated based on the unit's schedule. Only one winter holiday off is permitted. The client may call off up to 36 hours without payment for cancelled hours. PICC line management and IV starting experience are necessary. Cerner experience is preferred but not mandatory. Willingness to accept up to a 1:7 patient ratio if needed. The facility is a Level I trauma center and a Magnet hospital. The patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Required skills include blood product administration and wound care. Travelers must comply with all necessary requirements during the assignment.
