Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,292 per week in Pittsfield, MA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years current Medical Surgical experience required; telemetry experience required; willingness to float required License: Massachusetts RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required; Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred; traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment; permanent address must be included in profile; all scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission Description: Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified. Requests after submission or during the interview will not be approved. No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted. Travelers may not take all holidays off. Must work two blocks if scheduled or needed: Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day, and the weekend after, New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day, and the weekend after. Travelers must be willing to float to any medical surgical unit. Profiles will not be presented without specific interview dates and times of availability. Profiles will not be accepted with "anytime" as availability. Travelers without voicemail set up on their phones will be redirected. Unit size may vary between 20 to 34 beds. Patient ratio is typically 1:6. Personal scrubs of any color are permitted. Completion of skills checklist for Medical Surgical is required and must be current within one year. One supervisory signed reference from the past two years of employment is required. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Requesting time off after an offer may lead to rescinded offers. All travelers will be required to work every other weekend and holidays if needed.
