Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med/Surg 2 Cardiac

• Monitor and provide care for high acuity cardiac and post-procedure patients
• Read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips independently
• Manage cardiac drips and monitor sheath sites
• Provide post-cardiac catheterization care
• Participate in collaborative care with RT, OT, PT, and ST teams

Requirements of the RN - Med/Surg 2 Cardiac

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 2 years of relevant Med/Surg or Cardiac experience
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Capability in reading and interpreting cardiac rhythm strips
