Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1st 3x12 Hr Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of one year in Medical Surgical nursing preferred License: Current state Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider or an approved equivalent Must-Have: - Excellent customer service skills - Strong critical thinking abilities - Effective communication skills - Organizational skills - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice, typically obtained through completion of an Associate's degree in nursing Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a defined group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role requires competency in delivering care to a primarily adult population. The Staff RN-Inpatient job description includes essential functions that reflect the standards of practice for nursing. Candidates must demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills.
