Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Med Surg for a travel assignment in Louisville, KY. In this dynamic role, you'll work within a 23-bed neuro medical-surgical unit primarily focusing on high acuity rehab with spinal cord and traumatic brain injury patients. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Provide care to patients with spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries
- Manage trach care and respiratory equipment such as ventilators and CPAP/BiPAP machines
- Perform IV therapy and manage central lines
- Conduct wound care and administer nutritional support via G-tube/Peg-tube
- Coordinate care for pulmonary patients with trachs and other rehabilitation needs
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Active RN license
- BLS and NIHSS certifications
- A minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
- Experience in trach care, ventilation, and high acuity rehab settings
