Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,319 per week in Salem, MA

Job Title: Float Pool RN Profession: RN Telemetry I Specialty: RN Telemetry I Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days/Eves/Nights Rotate Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of acute care hospital experience; 2 years working as a Traveler License: Active RN License Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Must be willing to float to 8 different units. Description: This position is responsible for cardiac monitoring, administering cardiac drips, and interpreting telemetry strips. The Float Pool RN will float throughout the hospital to various Med/Surg Tele areas. Telemetry monitoring skills are required, including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours. Experience with TR Band is necessary. The clinician to patient ratio is up to 5:1 during Days and Evenings, and up to 6:1 during Nights. Patient population includes medication nurses in acute mental health units and care for non-vented patients who are transfer ready in the ICU. Bed count for the facility is 371. Unit census ranges from 8 to 41 beds. Rotation requirements include rotating from Days/Evenings to Nights up to 3 times per contract. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC.
