Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Medical/Surgical Specialty: RN Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS Must-Have: Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a team environment Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient and family support and nursing care within their full scope of practice. This will include participation in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs and services for patients, families, and the community. The responsibilities will include the observation, data collection, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patients' physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs as guided by an individualized and ongoing plan of care. The RN will work collaboratively as a member of the interdisciplinary team. This unit primarily deals with surgical patients. Some surgical patients consist of joint replacements, hip fractures, open abdominal surgeries, and neck and back surgeries.
