Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN with a Med Surg specialty for a travel assignment in Akron, OH. This is an opportunity to work in a 28-bed MS unit providing comprehensive nursing care to geriatric patients, age 65 and older, who require acute inpatient care or close observation. The role is ideal for a nurse looking to work in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

Provide 24/7 nursing care to geriatric patients
Manage overflow Medical and/or Surgical patients
Incorporate the 4Ms: What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility into patient care
Prevent functional decline and address acute medical needs
Perform phlebotomy and manage IVs

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

BLS certification
2+ years of recent Med Surg experience
12 months of Epic experience within the last year
Accredited nursing degree through the ACEN or CCNE
Experience in drawing and maintaining IVs
Flexibility to float as needed
