Seven Healthcare are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse for a Med Surg travel position in Oakland, MD. This role requires strong Med Surg experience, particularly in managing a wide variety of patient diagnoses. The assignment is in an acute care setting with a focus on exceptional patient care without requiring drip titration. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg- Provide high-quality patient care for a variety of conditions including CP, CHF, Pneumonia, and more
- Operate within a 32-bed unit currently staffing 20 beds, adhering to a nurse-patient ratio of no more than 5:1
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to manage and document patient care using Epic
- Engage in floating assignments to assist other units as needed
- Comply with weekend, holiday, and night shift requirements as scheduled
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg- Valid RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications
- Strong Med Surg background
- Experience with Epic charting system
