Job Title: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of current Medical Surgical experience License: Active Massachusetts RN license Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS Active American Heart Association ACLS NIH Stroke Scale Certification Must-Have: Telemetry experience Willingness to float to any Med Surg unit Completion of Basic Dysrhythmia course Description: Please do not submit candidates who intend to work in conjunction with another permanent placement or travel assignment. Requested time off during this assignment must be documented prior to submission. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted, with fewer days preferred. Travelers may not take all holidays off. Candidates must work two blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day, and the weekend after New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day. 36-hour guaranteed time is not available for this position. Please ensure your candidate is pre-closed on a 48-hour guaranteed time before submission. All candidates must have the required state nursing agency license uploaded with their profile. Include at least two specific dates/times candidates are available for interviews; "anytime" will not be accepted. Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
