Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 4+ years of current Med Surg/Cardiac/Neuro experience required License: Massachusetts RN license required Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS Active American Heart Association ACLS National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale NIHSS Must-Have: High proficiency in caring for cardiac and neuro patients Telemetry experience required Willingness to float required Completion of a basic dysrhythmia course strongly required Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission Description: This position is for a cardiac and neuro unit. "Straight Med Surg" travelers are ineligible for this need. Travelers must work two of the following holidays: Thanksgiving and the following weekend, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the following weekend, New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day and the following weekend. Travelers are required to upload a skills checklist demonstrating high proficiency in caring for cardiac and neuro patients. A supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment is required. The traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment. All requests for time off must be included in the profile and will not be approved after submission. The facility will not consider any traveler who resides within 50 miles of the facility. Documentation including the Massachusetts RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS must be submitted with the profile.
