Job Opportunity – Medical Surgical Registered Nurse – New Hampshire

Schedule: Variable shifts as scheduled; weekend and holiday coverage required as needed. Nurse to patient ratio 1:5, up to 1:7 on night shifts. Any requested time off must be specified at time of application (maximum 5 days).

Requirements:
- Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact license (must be uploaded with application)
- 3+ years of current Medical Surgical nursing experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience (minimum 6 months) required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Telemetry/Progressive Care experience preferred
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Active American Heart Association ACLS certification required
- One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required
- Current Medical Surgical skills checklist (within 1 year) required
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Must be available to work the posted schedule without shift accommodations
Responsibilities:
- Formulate, revise, and evaluate individualized patient care plans based on treatment response
- Coordinate and supervise patient care activities across the healthcare team
- Utilize assessment data to identify patient care needs, including education and discharge planning
- Recognize and report abnormal assessment findings and incorporate into care planning
- Document all patient care activities accurately, including wound assessment, patient teaching, medication administration, and nursing flow sheets
- Delegate tasks appropriately to healthcare team members
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively
