Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,363 per week in Lebanon, NH

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour PM-AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active RN license required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Must-Have: - Experience with chest tubes - Proficiency in managing various drips such as Diltiazem, Heparin, Lasix, Insulin, or Amiodarone - Ability to care for lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients - Experience with tracheostomies and laryngectomies - Knowledge of telemetry - Skills in managing complex wounds - Experience with central line care, maintenance, and blood draws Description: Multiple RNs needed for an immediate start. Candidates will care for a diverse medical patient population. The unit primarily serves patients with acute or chronic illnesses. Conditions treated include sepsis and various infectious processes. Experience with acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease is essential. Candidates will manage patients undergoing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. Diabetes management and gastrointestinal issues will also be common. Experience in handling fluid and electrolyte imbalances is needed. Candidates should be equipped to manage alcohol withdrawal, liver disease, and substance misuse. Knowledge of endocarditis, heart disease, and skin/wound issues is required. Experience with acute and chronic respiratory illnesses, including COPD, is necessary. Candidates will encounter patients with flu, pneumonia, and Cystic Fibrosis. Care for adult patients requiring admission in this specialty is expected. Ability to work 36 to 48 hours per week is required.
