Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Deliver high-quality nursing care to stroke stepdown patients and other medical-surgical patients
Manage specialty equipment such as IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes
Adjust and administer medication as per prescribed regimens
Monitor and document patient progress, updating healthcare team members as necessary
Float to various departments as required

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Active RN License in NY
2+ years of experience in Med Surg with stroke stepdown experience
Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
Travel nursing experience
