TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105!
Job Title: Registered Nurse

Experience: Minimum 2 years of prior experience required in a large, urban hospital.
License: Active RN license in hand preferred. Pending license accepted.
Certifications: BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred.
Must-Have:
- Experience with drips and EPIC charting.
- Ability to float frequently.
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
Description:
Holiday coverage is needed.
All staff must work 2 of the 3 major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.
Travelers are expected to float frequently to meet staffing needs.
Travelers may be assigned to different units based on experience.
Some assignments may require floating to a nearby facility.
RNs will float within their scope to meet facility needs.
All travelers will be assigned to units based on a thorough review of their qualifications and experience.
Candidates with less than 2 years of experience will not be accepted unless they have specific relevant experience.
Required nursing skills include management of cardiac drips and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
Staffing includes a multidisciplinary care team.
100% nicotine-free facility.
Weekend coverage requires 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period.
Requests for time off must be submitted with the application.
First-time travelers are not accepted.
RTO is limited and requires advance approval.
Candidates must wear designated uniforms.
COVID-19 vaccination is required, with medical or religious exemptions considered.
This position provides care to a diverse patient population.
The facility serves complex patients requiring various levels of care and treatment.
