Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 36 hours/week; Friday, Saturday, Sunday; holiday rotation; no call; float required across campuses Experience: - 24 months of Medical Surgical experience in a hospital or medical center setting - Patient care experience in general, gynecological, breast, abdominal, flaps, and ENT License: - Iowa State License Certifications: - BLS Must-Have: - No first-time travelers; must have completed a travel contract in the past 24 months - Heparin experience - EPIC EMR/electronic medical record experience - Recent/current Level II trauma experience Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Medical Surgical nursing. This role involves providing care for patients in a diverse range of medical conditions. The Registered Nurse will be required to float across multiple campuses. The nurse will work within a team to ensure high-quality patient care and safety. Patient ratios are maintained to ensure personalized attention, 1:4-6 on days and 1:5-6 on nights. Candidates should possess a strong foundation in the required patient care experiences. Heparin management and experience with the EPIC EMR system are essential for this position.
