Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,398 per week in Fargo, ND

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Medical Surgical License: Active RN License from a compact state or state of residence Certifications: BLS - must be AHA certified Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical experience in a larger hospital with at least 200 beds, or a level 2 or higher trauma center. - Travel experience required unless multiple years of experience in a large level 1 facility. - Experience with surgical oncology patients preferred, but not required. - EPIC experience is necessary. Description: The role involves caring for Medical Surgical patients and Surgical Oncology patients. The RN will collaborate with other inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Demonstrates competency in the full scope of nursing expertise and knowledge. Utilizes appropriate age and population-specific standards as designated in the assigned clinical setting. The unit consists of a 47-bed department. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 5:1 during day shifts and 6:1 during night shifts. Floating to other medical surgical units may occur as needed.
