Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,401 per week in Fargo, ND

Job Title: Med Surg Cardiac Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Med Surg Cardiac Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Day/Night Rotate Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg experience in a large hospital setting License: Active RN License (North Dakota or Compact) Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS (or willing to obtain prior to start) Must-Have: 2 years of recent Med Surg experience Ability to float to all units/locations as needed Experience within a large hospital setting with 250+ beds Cardiac experience is preferred, but not required Experience with EPIC is preferred Description: Looking for a Med Surg Cardiac Registered Nurse. The role will involve assessments, documentation, and completing nursing tasks, including medication administration. This position requires the use of Epic EMR, Omnicell, and Alaris IV pumps. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 4-5:1 on day shift and 5-6:1 on night shift. Travelers may self-schedule, but must adhere to the days off listed in their contract. When balancing the schedule, efforts will be made to avoid frequent shifts between days and nights. The primary unit will focus on Med Surg Cardiac, but floating to other Med Surg units may be required. Scrub color required is navy blue. All clinicians must badge in and out for entry and exit.
