Shifts: 12 hr nights, weekends as scheduled

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Med Surg for a travel assignment in an acute care setting in Fairmont, WV. This role is ideal for a healthcare professional looking to apply their expertise in a dynamic stepdown/med surg unit.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with respiratory issues, weakness, UTI, AKI, and chest pain
  • Titrate drips including Heparin, insulin, Cardizem, and aminodarone as required
  • Collaborate with house supervisors and nurse aides to maintain a 1:3 to 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio
  • Utilize and manage RT equipment such as CPAP, BiPap, and high flow oxygen
  • Participate in hospital orientation and adhere to royal blue scrub/dress code

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel
  • Valid RN license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Experience in stepdown care
