This role involves working in an acute care setting with a dedicated team on the Stepdown/Med Surg unit. Nurses with stepdown experience and strong skills in patient care will excel in this supportive and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with respiratory issues, weakness, UTI, AKI, and chest pain
Titrate drips including Heparin, insulin, Cardizem, and amiodarone
Work collaboratively with house supervisor and support staff
Utilize RT equipment such as CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow
Monitor patient telemetry and interpret strips

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

Current RN license
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Stepdown experience
Comfortable with EPIC charting system
