Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,467 per week in Kansas City, MO

The unit consists of 20 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6. During the day, a unit secretary is available to support the nursing team. Patient care technicians (PCTs) are also present on the unit. There is an educator available for staff training and support. Documentation is managed through a specific system. The nurse will be required to work three weekend shifts per month. There is no on-call requirement for this position. Agency or contract nurses will be the first to float when necessary. The unit performs medical-surgical care, with dialysis done off the unit. Candidates must wear royal blue scrubs, with the option to wear black scrub pants. The unit has policies and guidelines in place for staff. Teamwork is highly valued and recognized within the unit. A virtual nurse assists with patient admissions, allowing bedside nurses to focus on their patients.
