Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,467 per week in Kansas City, MO

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: ADN Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Med/Surg experience, nephrology, kidney transplants, renal, dialysis Description: The unit has 20 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6. There is a unit secretary available during the day and Patient Care Technicians on hand. A unit educator is also part of the staffing. Equipment includes a documentation system. Scheduling requires 3 weekend shifts per month. There are no on-call requirements for this position. Agency or contract nurses will float to other units first. Patient experience is prioritized. Procedures performed include med/surg care, with dialysis conducted off the unit. Candidates must possess an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. The dress code is royal blue scrubs, and black scrub pants are permitted. The unit has specific policies and guidelines to support staff. Recognitions include a teamwork award. A virtual nurse assists with patient admissions, allowing bedside nurses to focus on their patients.
