Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,470 per week in Fort Defiance, AZ

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-Surg Adult, Med-Surg Pediatric Duration: 16 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Three (3) years of med-surg experience, one (1) year pediatric experience required. License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required. Must-Have: Must be comfortable with both adult and pediatric patients. Description: Registered Nurse for the Med-Surg Unit for adult geriatrics and pediatric patients. There are excellent staffing ratios. For non-COVID patients, the typical ratio is 4:1, with a maximum of 5:1. For COVID patients, the typical ratio is 2:1, with a maximum of 3:1. The setting is a 20-bed medical-surgical unit for adults and pediatrics. Travelers must be flexible to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. In addition to inpatient duties, travelers may be assigned to help cover immunization clinics as needed. Travelers are expected to attend staff meetings. Travelers are occasionally expected to float to other departments in which they are qualified to work. This could include taking a patient load if experienced and competent in that setting or could be task-oriented, such as answering call lights and phones. Holiday coverage is required.
