Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients on the Med Surg unit
  • Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform treatments as ordered
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Travel to the assignment location and integrate quickly into new clinical environments

Requirements of the Travel Nurse
  • Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of 2 years' recent Med Surg experience
