Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Provide nursing care to patients with stroke, spine surgery, seizure, brain tumor, head injury, and other neuroscience conditions
- Titrate Heparin based on PTT levels
- Collaborate with charge nurse and house supervisor for patient care coordination
- Participate in floating rotation as needed, with skill-appropriate assignments
- Utilize EPIC charting system for accurate patient record-keeping
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Active IL license or application initiated
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS
- Level 1 trauma experience required
- Previous travel experience is mandatory
- Prior experience working on a dedicated neuro unit is essential
