Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Neuro MedSurg Acute Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Peoria, IL. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned nurse with a background in level 1 trauma and prior neuro unit experience to make a difference in a dynamic acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities of the Neuro MedSurg Acute Registered Nurse- Manage patient care in a 54-bed acute care setting
- Care for patients with stroke, spine surgery, brain tumor, and head injuries
- Titrate Heparin drips based on PTT
- Collaborate with a charge nurse and house supervisor present 24/7
- Float as needed within skill competency across units
Requirements of the Neuro MedSurg Acute Registered Nurse- Active IL license or pending application
- BLS and NIHSS certifications
- Experience with level 1 trauma
- Previous travel experience; no first-time travelers
- Prior experience working on a dedicated neuro unit
