Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,643 per week in Memphis, TN

Job Title: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in this specialty License: Must hold an active RN license or a compact RN license that complies with NLC guidelines Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Charge experience preferred - Experience with telemetry - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Description: This position requires a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to work nights in a medical surgical unit. The nurse will care for a patient ratio of 1:7 using a team nursing approach. Additional support will be provided by healthcare team members. Candidates must have experience working in a large hospital setting. Experience in Level I or Level II trauma preferred. First-time travelers will not be accepted for this position. Weekend shifts may be required as needed, and block schedules will be discussed during the interview. Local candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be considered. All requested time off must be included during the submission process. All candidates must comply with vaccination requirements for the flu, with no exemptions allowed. Candidates must be able to work required holidays if they fall during the assignment. Travelers must have successfully completed at least one prior travel assignment. Candidates with EPIC experience are preferred. Clear and direct communication with patients and interdisciplinary teams is essential. Effective management of patient care is also a vital component of this role.
