Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,676 per week in Morgantown, WV

# Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse – West VirginiaStart Date: As soon as possible
Location: West Virginia

Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 night shifts, 19:00-07:30, including 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule periodHighlights:

• 34-bed medical/surgical unit with telemetry capabilities serving adult patient populations
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-7, with acuity-based assignment optimization
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• Cerner electronic medical record system
• Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Clinical nurse coordinators provide leadership on every shift with daily huddles and active nurse manager presence

Requirements:

• Active RN license (West Virginia or Compact state); pending license accepted for submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (American Heart Association preferred)
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR and telemetry monitoring
• Experience with med/surg patient ratios of 1:6 or higher
• Skills in central line management, blood product administration, wound care, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, and other acute care competencies
• Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
• Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from facility location
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Reliable attendance is essential; facility has strict attendance expectations
