Schedule: Night shift, 19:00-07:30, 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts per week, including 3 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period

Highlights:

• 34-bed Medical/Surgical unit with telemetry capabilities
• Patient ratios of 1:5-7 on night shift
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• Cerner EMR system
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Daily census approximately 30 patients with a wide range of acute medical conditions

Requirements:

• Active RN License (West Virginia or Compact state license required)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (must be American Heart Association certified)
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:6 or similar
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Skills in central line care, blood product administration, chest tube management, wound care, and various acute care procedures
• Two recent manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
• Permanent address located at least 75 miles from facility location
• Reliable attendance required; consistent commitment to scheduled shifts expected
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
