Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 night shifts, weekdays with every other weekend rotation

Highlights:

• 12-bed inpatient oncology unit with medical/surgical overflow
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Minimum 13-week contract with extension opportunities available
• Cerner electronic medical record system
• Oncology experience preferred but not required; strong med/surg background welcomed
• Interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams

Requirements:

• Current RN License (West Virginia or Compact state license required)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association required)
• NIHSS certification required
• ONS chemo/biotherapy certification preferred; OCN and ONS/ONCC certifications beneficial
• IV insertion and management skills required
• Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility for travel assignment eligibility
• Reliable attendance is essential; professional commitment to scheduled shifts expected
