Assesses and reassesses young adult, adult, and elderly patients. Evaluates outcomes and consults with specialists as required. Adjusts nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient care. Performs head-to-toe assessments on all patients. Documents nursing care accurately and consistently. Maintains patient confidentiality and treats patients and families with respect and dignity. Identifies and addresses psychosocial, cultural, ethnic, and religious/spiritual needs of patients and families. Functions as a patient advocate.
