Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,696 per week in Lynchburg, VA

Clinical Observation Unit Med/Surg RN. 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM). Charge responsibility may be required, and appropriate pay differential and training will be provided. Block scheduling can no longer be accommodated, but weekend-only requests will be considered. Travelers will be offered up to 20 week-long assignments to ensure adequate staffing for patient care during the holiday season. Travelers must work at least one major holiday. Work history with at least 2 years of experience is required, including explanations for any gaps over 90 days. Skills checklist and copy of license are needed. Expect a 1:5 to 1:6 patient ratio. Assignments will end on Saturday, with 2 to 3 weekends per month based on unit needs. Limited requested time off must be included at the time of submission. Cancellations may occur up to 36 hours before an assignment due to census changes. You will work with students and new hires often. All team members, including travelers, are expected to contribute to a culture of support.
