# Job Opportunity – Surgical Specialty Unit Registered Nurse – Kansas

Start Date: December 14, 2026

Location: Leawood, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48 hours guaranteed preferred; every 3rd weekend required; two Mondays and Fridays per 4-week scheduling period

• Advanced surgical nursing including ostomy management, central line care, wound management, and post-operative protocols

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license in Kansas
• Current BLS certification required
• Medical-surgical nursing experience required
• Strong understanding of post-operative care and surgical patient management
• Experience with IV starts, blood administration, wound care, and central line management preferred
• Ability to float to similar medical-surgical and telemetry units as needed
