Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,796 per week in Saint Louis, MO

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required. License: MO or compact license required. Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred, must pass EKG exam. Must-Have: Experience with EPIC charting system required. Description: This role involves providing care on a medical surgical unit. You will manage patients with various acute conditions. Patient-to-nurse ratios range from 1:3 to 1:5. You are expected to float within your service line as needed. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. All travelers must complete compliance requirements before starting. No more than 7 days of requested time off is allowed per contract. Additional restrictions apply to time off requests. Comprehensive care encompasses procedures including medication administration and wound care. Skills such as managing insulin protocols and central line care are essential. Ability to handle acute care cases is necessary. Nursing staff will support interdisciplinary teams. Orientation will be provided and adherence to policies is expected. You will be involved in patient assessments and care planning. Candidates must demonstrate competence in EKG interpretation. Travelers must comply with all facility protocols and procedures.
