Provide direct nursing care to renal patients pre- and post-hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes.
Administer medications, treatments, and renal replacement therapies according to physician orders and facility protocols.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
Document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the Meditech EMR system.
Support patients and families throughout their renal health journey, offering education and emotional support.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and infection control standards.
Float as necessary to other units or hospitals within the DCH Health System.
