Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Float/Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Afternoons Hours per Shift: 12 hours, 4 shifts per week Experience: Minimum of 36 months in progressive care, stepdown, or med surg/medical surgical required. License: Active Iowa/IA license or compact/multistate required. Certifications: - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Must-Have: - Experience administering nitroglycerin, heparin, amiodarone, including titrations required. - EPIC EMR experience required. - Experience in neurology care preferred. - Experience in oncology care preferred. Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse with float and medical-surgical experience. The role involves working afternoon shifts for 12 hours. The position includes a holiday rotation. The nurse will float between different units. Patient ratios are 1:4/5 during days and evenings, and 1:6 at night. Scrub colors required are black and navy. Candidates should have strong clinical skills in a med surg environment. Experience in critical care is a plus. Professional references from recent employment are preferred.
