Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,832 per week in Cedar Rapids, IA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months of Stepdown, Progressive Care, or Medical-Surgical experience required. License: Active Iowa or compact/multistate nursing license required. Certifications: BLS certification from AHA or ARC required. Must-Have: Experience with electronic medical record systems required. Experience with specific drips including amiodarone, diltiazem, heparin, dobutamine, and milrinone required. Experience with chest tubes, JP drains, three-way Foley catheters, and NG tubes required. Description: The role involves working in a fast-paced environment with surgical patients. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting. Patient ratios are 1:4-5 during the day and 1:5-6 at night. The nurse will be required to float across various medical-surgical units as necessary. Candidates should have strong communication and organizational skills. A commitment to patient safety and comfort is essential. Flexibility to work holidays and weekends is required.
