Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,844 per week in Des Moines, IA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months of current Medical-Surgical experience is required. License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license is required. Certifications: BLS certification is required. Must-Have: - Experience caring for pulmonary patients - Recent charge experience is required - Level I trauma experience is highly preferred - Experience caring for pulmonary/ventilated patients on Bi-PAP and trach care is highly preferred Description: We are quickly interviewing viable candidates for a Registered Nurse position on the Medical-Surgical unit. This role will involve caring for patients dealing with pulmonary conditions. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4-6, ensuring quality care. The unit has a bed size of 23. Contractors may be required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed. Travelers will need to float across different campuses. Candidates must have a work history that demonstrates the required experience. Professional references from charge nurses or nurse managers from the last 24 months are preferred.
