Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, every other weekend rotation, holiday rotation with staff, overtime availableHighlights:- 42-bed medical/surgical unit in a 313-bed acute care facility with Level II Trauma Center designation- Patient ratio goal of 1:6, may occasionally go to 1:7- Meditech electronic medical record system- Comprehensive support staff including unit secretary on days and four techs per shift- Wide patient variety with focus on safe disposition and discharge planning- Unit recognized for patient safety awards and improved fall ratesRequirements:- Active RN license in South Carolina or compact state eligibility- Minimum 1 year of medical/surgical nursing experience- BLS certification required- Strong communication skills, teamwork orientation, and compassionate patient care approach- Willingness to float to other units as neededWhy It's a Great Opportunity:Join the second largest unit in a well-established acute care facility known for its collaborative team culture and emphasis on patient safety excellence.
